Water-based Epoxy Micaceous Iron Oxide Intermediate (Primer) Coating

This Water-based Epoxy Mica Iron Intermediate Paint uses grey mica iron oxide as the pigment and water-based epoxy resin as the base material, combined with thickeners, additives, and water. Thanks to the excellent performance of both mica iron oxide and water-based epoxy resin, the coating film offers high salt spray resistance, toughness, and good adhesion, along with flexibility, abrasion resistance, and sealing properties.

Additionally, the product has the advantages of low shrinkage, high hardness, and high build application. It effectively blocks the penetration of external media. Due to its flake-shaped pigment structure, it exhibits excellent barrier properties and anti-corrosion performance, and can also be directly used as a primer. It is widely used in various fields, suitable for steel structures, oil storage tanks, oil transmission pipelines, solvent tank interiors, as well as submerged and underground pipelines.

Note:

1. After mixing components A and B, use within 3 hours. Approximate consumption for one coat is 0.2 kg/m².

2. In winter, outdoor spraying time is 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (to prevent dew and ensure surface drying before fogging). Construction temperature should be maintained above 5°C, and humidity below 85%. The amount of added water should be controlled within 5%.

• HD-204A / HD-204YB (A:B = 100:17)

• HD-205A / HD-205B (A:B = 100:7)

• HD-206A / HD-206B (A:B = 100:7)

• HD-209A / HD-209B (A:B = 10:1)

Intermediate Paint:

• HD-207A / HD-207B (A:B = 100:17)

Note: This intermediate paint is specially designed for ≥40% zinc-rich primers. It is not suitable for use as an epoxy primer.
